My First RUF Cup Race in iRacing - At Spa

This is my first attempt at streaming my racing and uploading to YouTube, so sorry if you are having trouble hearing my commentary in this video.

I'm still learning how to do all this, so I'm sure it will get better in future videos.

I've only just picked up the the New RUF Car in iRacing, so I'm just getting a feel for it here at Spa.  This is my first race in the car.

Racing Clean Now Has a YouTube Channel

I've recently been trying out streaming some of my gaming time on Twitch, primarily thanks to my Xbox One.  I'm not exactly the world's best gamer so sometimes I'm a bit embarrassed to be streaming at all - especially getting my arse handed to me in Titanfall... Or should I say TitanFool.

Anyway, I've got a taste for it now and decided to also try streaming some of my online races in iRacing.  I'm pretty new at this so please forgive me as I learn how to get better at it.  I am still finding the right balance between game and voice volume so that you can hear me, but hopefully I will figure this out quickly.

Racing Clean on YouTube

The "Racing Clean" YouTube Channel is the place to go to see any videos I create for my racing experiences in the virtual world.  After I have broadcast any races on my Twitch channel I will try to upload my most interesting races to my new Racing Clean YouTube channel for viewing at any time.

What you will see is that even after a year on iRacing, I'm not the fastest guy in the field; I'm a mid-field runner most of the time, so hopefully I can give you an insight on what racing is like for the rest of us who are NOT Aliens... Or maybe I can help those who are new to sim-racing by showing them how exciting racing in the mid-pack can actually be.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Coming to RaceRoom Racing Experience

I've been doing some general poking around and have discovered some interesting things about SimBin's latest excellent Free 2 Race game - RaceRoom Racing Experience.  Some of my discoveries may already be know by some readers, but it was new to me and doesn't seem to be common knowledge yet so I thought I would share my findings with you here on my new site.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course looks like it may be coming to RaceRoom Racing Experience in the (hopefully) not too distant future.

Track layouts likely to be included are: -

• Mid-Ohio Full Course (as pictured above)
• Mid-Ohio Chicane
• Mid-Ohio Short

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington Ohio is a tricky undulating track with quick changes in direction, blind curves hidden by sudden changes in elevation and a long straight.  It's a very satisfying track to master.

There's no word on exactly when Mid-Ohio will be coming to RaceRoom, ultimately I'm sure it all depends on licensing and SimBin's launch timetable, which I'm sure is subject to change.

My Return to PC Sim Racing

I spent some time recently playing around in Race 07 (with all it's expansions), I thought this would be a good way to ease me back into PC Sim Racing having not really driven them for the last few years...  Here's how it went...
